What data Roco Kingdom Guide collects, how it is used, and the choices available to visitors.

Summary

Roco Kingdom Guide is a static guide site. It has no accounts, no login, no comment system, no contact form, no newsletter and no advertising. It does not run analytics, tracking pixels or advertising scripts of any kind. There is no profile of you to build, sell or lose.

The only personal data that reaches us is what you choose to put in an email, plus the standard request information that our hosting provider records when any browser loads a page. Both are described below.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for or store your name, address, phone number, date of birth, payment details, game account credentials or any government identifier. There is no user database, because there are no user accounts. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not receive data from the game's developers and publishers about who visits this site.

If a page here appears to ask for a password or payment, it is not ours; close it and tell us.

Email you send us

If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address, the name attached to it, the message body and any attachments you include, such as screenshots of a patch note. We use that information only to read, answer and act on your message — for example, to correct a page or to respond to a copyright notice sent under the DMCA policy.

We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for that purpose, then delete it. We do not add addresses to a mailing list, and we do not share or sell them. Please do not send sensitive personal information; a guide correction never needs it.

The mailbox is a Google Gmail account, so messages are transmitted, filtered and stored by Google as our email provider, under Google's own terms and privacy policy. A copyright notice also contains whatever contact details you choose to include, such as a name, mailing address and phone number; we use those only to process the notice and any counter-notice.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to the address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data in order to deliver pages and keep the service secure and available. That typically includes the IP address of the requesting device, the browser user agent, the requested URL, a timestamp and basic response information such as the status code.

We use this data only in aggregate, to understand traffic volume and to spot abuse or broken pages. We do not combine it with anything else to identify an individual, and we do not use it for advertising or behavioural profiling. Log retention and the exact fields recorded are governed by Cloudflare's own policies as our hosting provider; we do not keep a separate copy of raw logs.

Local storage

The site stores one preference in your browser: your light or dark theme choice, saved under the local storage key site:theme. It contains only the words "light" or "dark", and it is read on load so the page does not flash the wrong colours. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to our server, and clearing your browser storage removes it. The cookie notice explains this in more detail.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not share it with third parties except as unavoidable in using a hosting provider and an email provider, or where we are legally required to respond to a valid request.

Children, changes and contact

This site is for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. Where local law sets a higher age of digital consent, such as 16 in parts of the European Union, treat that age as the threshold for sending us anything. If a child has emailed us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top will change when we do, and material changes will be described here rather than buried in a changelog. Questions about this policy, or requests to delete correspondence you have sent, go to [email protected]. See also the terms of use and about pages.
